This was painted to represent a day Guadalupe was looking for a job in the Richmond area. "I went to seven places. Sometimes I found people were friendly, and at other times quite angry...I met easygoing people, and people of different nationalities."

On the left are two faces, which, together with the seven circles, represent a person who smiles at you and at first glance seems quite agreeable, but then gives you a negative response, the opposite of what you might have expected.
