Oil on Canvas, Rochester, 2004

100cm x 89cm

Most of Guadalupe's inspiration for this painting comes from the consumption of everyday things. He says, "It seems to me that every day we are rushing to buy new items."

The message of this painting is the development of new ideas through time. It's like a big satellite in our mind, connecting us to the past, and demonstrating how we are becoming more modernised as time proceeds.

The colourful dots are trying to change the era as a new day unfolds. The green circle is scanning us, controlling the winds, like a turbine. The computer mouse images represent the clicks in our brain, every time we get a new idea.
