Guadalupe comments, "I believe that we are making contact with space already, and that our bodies will depend on the new technology, science and new discoveries in space."

The shape of the four spiders is based on a idea from women's underwear, a shape which Guadalupe also used when developing a tray in the second year of his degree, when mass production was a relevant consideration. Also in the painting are some chair legs, taken from his chair designs, relating to the style of modernism.

The two bubbles are keeping the sixties at a distance, but the clear bubble is the new attention that we have today. It is still a bubble, but with a different interpretation, as in the way hip-hop music is a different mentality. Nevertheless, it is still a mystery which new ideas and style will follow on from pop design into the future.
