The original idea was to paint this cat in some unusual maritime colours. Guadalupe's inspiration for giving these colours to the cat was because of the experiences he had of fishing, when sometimes he could see beautiful colours on the fish. He wanted to "keep" these colours by giving them to one of his cats.
