In this painting you can see a bird with the body of a fish, and also two different sizes of wing. In the middle is a keyhole. The painting symbolises the feeling that when you love someone who lives on the other side of the world, sometimes you just want to take wings and fly, or swim to them, to tell them how much you love them. Sometimes even, you just want to fly far away, however like the image, you are powerless to do so. The two animals combined into one therefore represent the freedom to reach a far away place of liberty.
